THE SHIRT STORY.
SIZE 176cm but fits as. Men’s small
The black chest band gives this Adidas shirt its character, breaking up the red body and framing the RWE sponsor. The German energy company’s lettering and distinctive hand graphic make it instantly recognisable.
Berbatov was starting to make his name at Leverkusen, having scored against Liverpool during their run to the 2002 Champions League final. They returned to the competition in 2002/03 and reached the second group stage. His number 9 belongs to the following season, when he took over Ulf Kirsten’s shirt and scored 16 Bundesliga goals.
Size small, in excellent, near-mint 9/10 condition.
