THE SHIRT STORY.
The red-and-blue stripes and white collar make this one of Bayern’s most recognisable Adidas shirts. The Opel sponsor sits across the front, a reminder of the German car manufacturer’s long partnership with the club through the ’90s.
Worn from 1995 to 1997, this design saw Bayern lift the UEFA Cup against Bordeaux and then win the Bundesliga. Matthäus captained the side from his deeper sweeper role, with his familiar number 10 on the back.
This example has newly applied Matthäus 10 flock printing and a new flock Bundesliga patch.
Size XL, in good 8/10 condition.
