THE SHIRT STORY.
The first season of UNICEF on the front, with Ronaldinho 10 on the back. There’s a good story behind that logo: Barça agreed to donate €1.5 million a year to UNICEF, rather than being paid to wear it.
Ronaldinho scored 21 league goals that season, with his overhead kick against Villarreal probably the pick of them. He controlled the ball on his chest with his back to goal, then finished over his shoulder in a 4–0 win. Barça ultimately lost the league title to Real Madrid on head-to-head results, but there were still plenty of moments worth remembering.
